Jessica is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and a dedicated advocate for children, families, and adult learners. She earned her degree in psychology and currently works in ABA therapy, where she supports children with developmental needs and champions their growth and success. Active in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg NAACP, Jessica is passionate about community engagement and advocacy, particularly for adult learners navigating the challenges of balancing education, family, and personal growth.

Grounded in her faith, Jessica credits her belief in God as the foundation of her journey, living by the principle that “to whom much is given, much is required.” She embraces the mantra “the delayed is not denied,” offering hope and encouragement to those on nontraditional paths. Looking ahead, she plans to establish a nonprofit organization to empower children from communities like her own, continuing a life of service, leadership, and purpose.
