Edwina Fleuridor Crowned Miss Florida A&M University: A QUEEN OF PURPOSE, SCIENCE, AND SERVICE

Network Collegiate Chapter, sharpening her skills in branding, communication, and strategic leadership. She is also an active member of SISTUHS, Incorporated, and the Haitian Cultural Club, where she celebrates sisterhood, service, and cultural pride. Previously, she served as Miss Omega Psi Phi during the 2022–2023 academic year, further reflecting her deep commitment to student leadership. Beyond campus, Fleuridor is the founder and owner of Touched by Edwina, a flourishing makeup artistry brand dedicated to empowering women to embrace confidence, beauty, and self-worth. Her entrepreneurial spirit mirrors her drive in the classroom, blending creativity with business savvy and a heart for uplifting others. Edwina’s passion for science is matched by her heart for people. With hands- on experience as a Publix Pharmacy technician, she has gained invaluable insight into patient care, professionalism, and the impact of accessible healthcare. These experiences have fueled her aspiration to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales, where she hopes to merge scientific knowledge with relationship building to improve lives and advance community wellness. Her commitment to service extends throughout Tallahassee, where she regularly volunteers with FAMU

Developmental Research School and Fairview Middle School, mentoring young students and giving back to the community that supports her. Since enrolling at FAMU, she has completed more than 2,000 hours of community service, reflecting a lifelong dedication to impact beyond self. As Miss FAMU, Fleuridor envisions initiatives that uplift the student body and strengthen campus community, including creating an on-campus Community Campus Closet for students in need, launching a Campus Queens Collective to lead monthly service projects, and partnering with TRIO and First Year Experience programs to develop a First-Generation Roadmap to support students navigating college life. Through every role she embraces, from scholar to entrepreneur to campus ambassador, Edwina Fleuridor exemplifies leadership rooted in service and grace. She carries her crown not simply as a symbol of achievement, but as a platform to uplift others, inspire excellence, and open doors for those who follow.

Edwina Fleuridor, a senior pharmaceutical sciences scholar from Orlando, Florida, proudly serves as Miss Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, embodying the beauty, brilliance, and bold leadership of the Rattler spirit. A student in the Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences program within FAMU’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health, Fleuridor’s HBCU journey has been defined by resilience, purpose, and unwavering faith. Born on April 22, 2003, and raised in West Orlando, Fleuridor is the daughter of Eddy and Clermelia Fleuridor and a proud first-generation Haitian American. A graduate of Ocoee High School, she began her FAMU journey in Fall 2020 as a trailblazing scholar, committed to academic excellence and meaningful campus engagement. Her dedication and leadership earned her the title of Miss Florida A&M University, a role she embraces as both an honor and a responsibility.
