She plans to pursue a master’s degree in clinical mental health psychology, followed by doctoral studies, with the goal of becoming a transformative voice in mental health advocacy. Her academic journey is marked not only by achievement, but by purpose, a desire to heal, uplift, and empower others through her profession. From her very first year on campus, Christian emerged as a dynamic leader. She served as Student Government Association freshman class treasurer, treasurer of the Psychology Club, and became an active member of TRIO. Her excellence earned her induction into Pi Gamma Mu, the National Honor Society for Social Sciences. Today, she continues that legacy as vice president of the Psychology Club and as a charter member of Livingstone College’s Collegiate Section of the National Council of Negro Women. In Spring 2025, Christian was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Sigma Chapter , where she found sisterhood rooted in scholarship, service, and community uplift. That same spirit shines through
her historic reign as the youngest Miss Livingstone College. Wearing the crown with humility and strength, she uses her platform to promote resilience, confidence, and pride, inspiring her peers to walk boldly in their purpose. Beyond the classroom and the crown, Christian’s heart for service comes alive through her work with Next Generation Academy, an after school program where she teaches and counsels children ages 6 to 12 . There, she is not just an instructor, but a mentor and role model, nurturing young minds while gaining hands on experience aligned with her calling in mental health. Christian Oliver’s story is one of excellence in motion. Whether leading on campus, mentoring youth, or preparing for her future in psychology, she reflects the very best of Livingstone College and the HBCU tradition. As she prepares to graduate in the spring, Christian stands as a testament to what is possible when faith meets focus and service meets scholarship. Her renaissance is not just a moment, it is a movement, and her journey is only just beginning.
Christian Symone Oliver is the embodiment of a modern renaissance woman who is intellectually gifted, service driven, and deeply rooted in faith, family, and purpose. The daughter of Nia Murry and the late Adrian Oliver, and the beloved little sister of U.S. Navy veteran Adrianne Sally and Jeffery Oliver, Christian carries her family’s legacy with pride while forging a powerful path of her own at Livingstone College. A native of Houston, Texas, with deep Louisiana roots, Christian found her home at Livingstone after a campus visit that instantly felt like destiny. What began as curiosity soon became commitment, as she accepted a full scholarship and joined a close-knit HBCU community that would shape her leadership journey and academic excellence. Now a senior psychology major and presidential scholar, Christian maintains an impressive 3.75 GPA, reflecting her discipline, focus, and unwavering
