HBCU TIMES: THANK YOU FOR MAKING THE TIME FOR THIS INTERVIEW. DO YOU MIND GIVING US HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT YOU DISCUSSED TODAY?

We have initiatives in artificial intelligence and augmented virtual reality to transform the service industry, so we discuss the necessary skills that interns and HBCU students need when they enter the workforce. In today’s world, consumer applications drive our daily lives. So how can we attract and retain students focused on these experiences to prepare them for future success?

T he United Negro College Fund (UNCF) has established a wide array of champions and partners during its 80- year history, and Xerox is proud to be included on this list of distinguished companies that supports HBCUs and PBIs (Predominantly Black Universities). As a key sponsor of the 2024 UNCF Summit in Atlanta, Xerox CEO Steve Bandrowczak served on one of the first panels on day one. The HBCU Times Magazine

BANDROWCZAK: Xerox is working with the institutions on a couple of different things. We are determining how to bring [HBCUs] innovative technology and capabilities to make them more productive, to be able to attract [tech-focused] students. We are also exploring how to bring interns into Xerox, teach them innovation and business, and help them grow their own professional careers.
