That sense of responsibility, Harrington says, is deeply tied to her identity as an HBCU graduate, which she describes as her proudest achievement. “Nothing reminds me of the responsibility I carry as an HBCU grad more than knowing that I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams,” she said. For her, that history is not only something to honor, but something to build upon. “When they first broke ground and dug into that soil on Morgan’s campus, people like me and other HBCU graduates, we are exactly what they dreamed of,” she said. If her current success is any indication, what comes next will be guided by the same purpose that has defined every pivot so far—a life lived beyond the paint, anchored in vision, courage, and the freedom to become.
